Interpreters

The Lawyers’ Committee relies heavily upon a corps of volunteer interpreters. Volunteer interpreters work under the direction of our volunteer attorneys and will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in legal interpreting.

Opportunities range from helping an attorney communicate during an initial interview to assisting at a deposition or even a trial. Spanish interpreters are in primary demand, but interpreters in other languages are needed on a case-by-case basis as well.

If you are interested in being added to our volunteer interpreter bank please fill out our application form or contact Carlos Mojica, at 415.543.9444 x217 or volunteer@lccr.com.
